About

Technology work starts with the product.

Klauvy brings the product knowledge, the Indian law and the working documents for a technology matter into one place.

Why Klauvy exists

Technology matters rarely start with a clean legal question. They start with a product, a vendor or a data flow that someone has to understand before the contract can be read.

Klauvy is a place to build that understanding. Lessons explain how products are built, hosted and run. Each legal point is tied to its source in Indian law. Drafts and playbooks turn the reading into a working document.

It is a learning and practice workspace. It does not give legal advice, and it does not replace the judgment of the lawyer working on the matter.

Founder · Rishabh Joshi

Rishabh started Klauvy because lawyers starting out in tech work had nowhere practical to learn it.

Where he comes from

He graduated from Gujarat National Law University in 2022 and spent three years at Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas and Talwar Thakore & Associates.

He worked on merger control deals worth more than USD 18 billion in total, and on enforcement matters for global technology companies before the CCI, the NCLAT, High Courts and the Supreme Court of India.

For the last one and a half years, he has worked independently on the product side with technology startups, learning how products are built, shipped and run alongside the law that applies to them.

What he is building

In tech matters, a lawyer has to understand the product before the law: how an app collects data, where it is hosted, what a model is trained on. Klauvy puts that product knowledge, the Indian law and the working documents in one workspace.

It is built by someone who has worked on both the legal and the technology side of these matters.

This background is shared to introduce the person behind Klauvy. Klauvy does not solicit or refer legal work.
